Please see below the simplest way to portion your cake to get the maximum servings from the cake. 

 

You will need a large serrated knife and either a large tray or large plate.

 

Finger Portions

 

Step 1              Remove all inedible decorations and using a large serrated knife cut the whole way across the cake. 

 

Step 2              Lay the first cut piece of cake onto your large tray or large plate and cut again into 1 inch segments.

 

Dessert Portions

 

Step 1              Remove all inedible decorations and using a large serrated knife cut the whole way across the cake. 

 

Step 2              Lay the first cut piece of cake onto your large tray or large plate and cut again into 2 inch segments.
